I am down 1 more pound this morning. Admittedly I've been constipated (sorry to be indelicate) and had to take a laxative after several days of trying veggies and increased water. It worked this morning .. thank God! Painfully cold overnight at -50. The furnace worked overtime and is still going at it. It is -23C right now and I won't even talk about windchill. My 14 yr old daughter and I overslept this morning :(. She had a liquid breakfast and guzzled it .. poor thing. It left her feeling off in the stomach department. She got to school on time - and that's what is important to her - on a morning like this, I think it's more important to have a good breakfast even if you are a little late. It's hard to tell a perfectionist that ... she wants perfect attendance :(. My 14 year old is a big part of my mindfulness experiment because I think it may help to curb her perfectionist tendencies and help her to enjoy life. One of my goals this year is to teach her to live in the moment and enjoy the journey - regardless of the outcome because there is always learning embedded in our hills and valleys.

My little one is still not feeling well and will be staying at home another day. It's a good time to stay home - they cancelled all the school buses but school is still open. "De-cluttering day" beckons to me so I must go. I will check in and catch up on journals periodically. Have a wonderful day all.

Happy you lost another pound Jenn! You are doing great! We are all still unclogging our systems from Christmas, I think. Ha! Eat lots of veggies and drink lots of water. Hope everyone in your family feels better. Lots of sickness going around. Have a great de-clutter day!

dboza: Throw it away quickly before it sticks - took me a few days to get rid of it! LOL

Painfully is a good way to put it! (and dangerous too - gotta make sure your skin is covered). -40 exposed skin can start to freeze in 5 minutes and -50 it only take 2 minutes so be careful out there.
