Hope you feel ok with your withdrawal. I'm feeling good as I am back on track both eating and excercise. Too much chocolate and a few beers thru the holiday. Exercise for me makes a huge difference as does no alcohol.

So far so good ... hehehehe.... I am still poised for more withdrawal but not feeling much of the effects today. Maybe it won't be so horrible afterall. My induction ... yikes ... I had a few days of feeling horrible!

maybe just going back won't be soo bad. I did atkins after forced inactivity after surgery resulted in a wt gain. Worked for me then but my ex husband had an affect on my diet then. Tried going back again over a year ago--just didn't work with my current nearly vegetarian eating plan for the past 5 years or so. Couldn't choke down that much meat or fat--just plain made me sick. Just me, nothing against the low carb.

I have to agree with you re: eating a lot of meat. After awhile, it's very difficult to enjoy it so I have to take mini-breaks especially from beef. This is why I am a big fan of the avocado (and eggs). It's filling without being overly bulky. I am not vegetarian but I get exactly what you are saying :)

Slow day in my assigned dept today and am bored. I'm not a vegetarian either just feel better not eating lots of meat and it makes my food budget smaller. I play with lots of different cuisines, have hundreds of cookbooks, so it never gets boring since most countries aren't as meat dependant as the us is.
