I overshot my target carbs by 5 today, but I am OK with that. It was a self imposed target. However, it was due to me not properly preparing for today (I am not OK with that). I was out longer than I had anticipated and started to be very hunger so, on the way back I purchased an asian salad from McDonald. Although, it was a low carb choice and I did not have the cashew nuts or the dressing, I was still feeling like it was not a satisfying choice. The best meal of the day was breakfast - it was wonderful with the berries. My kids are also into the berries because I gave them a taste.

My daughter believes that she aced her music theory .. whoo hoo! She's doing her math homework now and my little one is in the Living Room practicing a piano piece for the Christmas recital next week Sunday. I am going to get the decorations from downstairs so that we can decorate the tree tonight. It's a blistering cold evening, it's snowing like crazy outside and I am sooooo very happy to be in a warm house filled with the love of my family! I feel so blessed :)
