I guess I shouldn't beat myself up mentally thinking about how much more weight I could have lost if I kept up my effort these last six months. I'm back up some in the weight, but have resolved to start over again.

I fell into the old habits of having summer plans all the time (dinner/drinks here, party there, trip here, etc) and allowing myself to postpone eating healthily *at least until after the XYZ event*. Now that has trickled into fall and I have done the most damage in the last two months.

I told a friend about trying again after being lax for six months and she said that everyone needs a break sometimes. (I said sure, but thought "mmm... six months is a pretty long break if you ask me....") Oh well, I'm going to keep a positive outlook on the new start!!
