so yesterday went good to bad but with lots of learning along the way....

It all started off so well....two different people (one male one female) asked me yesterday if i had lost some weight..yeh go me!! its funny the way they approached things..the guy asked very politely and referenced that the clothes i was wearing were different to normal, (the funniest thing about this is i was stood in last years trousers and a basic T they i've worn numerous times before!!) these two compliments made me feel light on my feet and determined to keep going
(Note to other people its OK to notice and pass comment we really appreciate it)

Then disaster struck :0( Town Hall meeting called and we were informed of a 50% reduction in employees at work..bummer....now previously i've been a very emotional eater and at work it was easy to avoid..everyone was talking lots of activity etc. however, it was a different story when i got home and to make matters worse my mum (god love her) had been shopping and bought some cinnamon buns and my favourite oat biscuits as a "treat"..i tried to be good and had a cereal bar instead but i swear the biscuits were calling my name and it didnt matter where in the house i was i could hear them!!!!

so off on my walk with the Luske dog i went trying my hardest to be of the vein the longer i go the smaller the craving would become and we did well around 5 kms and it felt good?!? and returning to the smell of soft onions in the frying pan was heaven! The hubby had made hakkebøf (kind of like beef pattys) and they smelt delicious. he was as always very good to me and didnt put any of the soft onions on my plate i would have to make that decision myself and i was good and didnt have any....but then as we sat discussing the days events and i could hear that his projects weren’t working and i'd also had a rubbish day those biscuits started screaming my name...i gave in and opened the packet :0( but in previous times i would have sat and eaten the whole packet without even thinking about it.. this time as i couldnt find them in my app i turned the packet over and read the nutritional info off the back..OMG...who knew that oat biscuits could be so high in calories!!!! this came as such a shock that i only ate 2 and put the packet back i didnt want to undo all the good work i've done so far!!!

Sorry about your rough day. Hopefully tomorrow is better. Still, you did have a little bit of weight loss, didn't you? No real damage done. :) Also, I'm intrigued. You used the word "hakkebøf". This is a VERY Danish word. I also see "Blandede rundstykker" in your breakfast for today. It's so rare to see these Danish words here on FS? ;)

its my Danglish :0) i'm originally from the UK but live in DK so those pesky danish words sneak in now and again! i didnt want to have to think about the translation so i didnt have any excuse and so FS works well for me like that (and if i didnt call them Hakkebøf the other half who does all the cooking and is Danish would not be too impressed with me ;0)
