Hi Everyone,
I'm hanging in there pretty well. I have been fasting 16:8 (8 hour eating window, 16 hours of fasting). That is getting easier to do.

I ordered some tea that is supposed to be good for killing hunger while fasting. Also, ordered OSSO bone broth. I order the beef type which I like better. And this stuff is good - has all the gelatin in it. Comes in handy pouches and frozen.

I am tracking my fasting blood sugar which has gone down some. It is amazing how you can go to sleep with a blood sugar of 150 and wake up and it's 190. It will take a long time to bring that down.

I use the LIFE fasting app to track fasting hours. You can enter waist circumference, fasting blood sugar, and weight. I need to get a measuring tape for waist. All are good indicators of metabolic syndrome.

I was taking that medicine for binge eating (Vyvanse). It worked so well the first month and just stopped. I took a higher dose but it didn't help. I didn't want to take higher doses b/c it increases blood pressure. I have enough problems with that.

I bought a mini waffle maker and made chaffles. They are made from egg, almond flour, psyllium husk powder, and cheese. They made a great sandwich!

I usually do IF, fasting between 2-3pm and starting to eat around 6am-7am. If I feel hungry in the evening I'll usually have a cup of tea or some water.
