If a conifer falls in the forest does it grow new cones? An analogy gone terribly wrong on this meme. The again, maybe a reaction to the you tube and woo peddlers out there. Then again. . . .idk!

When I started this weight loss thing, "calorie" was a unknown word for me, when I learned about it, avoiding counting them on my binge eating days and avoiding the scale was the solution. Now, I know that no matter if you see me eating or not, my body will always count them, so I face the reality. 😀

I know I have some pretty wonky notes in a few books from BITD and my first few encounters with the 'calorie' word. I really took the information seriously when I was attending a PPA program through the local Y. Learned so much about behavior and how people view food. From there, it was MFP, lost weight , maintained, and now here to lose some more.

Not all carbs are bad for you. Fruits & Veggies are extremely nutrient dense and are necessary for complete health 🥦🍊🍌🥬🥒

Martin Mcdonald shares evidence based nutrition advice, this was just a joke. HFCS afects you no differently than the sugar in fruit as far as fat loss/gain is concerned. You still need a calorie surplus.

No, it does not. When you binge it does not spike it either 🤣

Love that guy, especially when he calls people that argue with science idiots 😍

Well, it's a joke for me too, but this is really serious for some folks. 🤔

My grandmother died from diabetes, I was little, but I remember that she was also obese , I know exdiabetes persons, they improved their health just by losing weight, not necessarily with keto diet. I just wonder what an skinny person has to do to reverse diabetes??

Everything causes obesity when over consumed. Over consuming something is a good indicator you're in a surplus. You reversed diabetes by losing fat. It helped to stop drinking calories since it allowed you to create a deficit. I don't drink calories either besides milk.

And yes, the ignorant and the people who just don't care about their health over consume calorie dense food. A lot of cheap calorie dense food is made with hfcs. I have it in moderation while counting calories and have success. I'm just comparing fructose to hfcs. Calorie for calorie there is a negligible difference. I'm not saying people should go out of their way to consume it.

Keilin...BEST QUESTION!!! Hope someone has insite! My hubby is diabetic, was so overweight when diagnosed in 2011. Lost a ton and reversed it for nearly two years. Now it’s back, raging and he’s losing more weight yet eating like a horse. Cannot get it under control. I’m scared to be honest and his job is kind of on the line because of it. What should he do??

Wifey, I don't think that we can help an adult that doesn't want to take care of himself and it's sad 🙁, my father-in-law has the same problem, he was getting better just by losing weight. But he is eating a lot again ,so. But I also know a little 13 years old boy with diabetes and he is really skinny.
