Yes, I remember the movie. I don't think I could buy that stuff, let alone drink it. Wonder why the company chose such an off-putting name.

in the book that "Soylent Green" was based on, the "soylent steaks" are made of soy and lentil.

Yea, isn’t that weird that they would go there. Maybe THEY are too young to remember. Hehehehehe

Don't drink anything with the word 'soy' in it's ingredients or name.

Becc@ I’m not sure what your comment is about, but this post is about a 1974 movie.

Yeah, I know. I am talking about the marketing team for this product not doing research for the products name. I should have explained that in my first comment. Sorry.😞

I used Soylent to kickstart my weight loss—lived on it exclusively for the first three months or so. Still love it whenever I need to just get my nutrition / calories without thinking too hard about it. It's amazing!

Do keep in mind that the science shows that supplements don't always have the same effect as the natural product, often none at all.

what will happen when you'll stop to use it?

Becc@ - the name was deliberately chosen as a cheeky reference to the movie. They knew exactly what it was about! There's also a flavor called "Coffiest" that's a reference to another dystopian sci-fi book, "The Space Merchants."

@jayson - That's pretty clever and funny.😃 I've never heard of this product until now.
