I think you are back to your 'never eat the same thing twice' :)

looks good but I would starve if I ate so little

I would have gone with the avocado and left if the sour cream. I have two in the refrigerator and two ripening on the countertop now.

Baskington if you look at yesterday, I maintained my weight at 1100 calories. My metabolism is slow. I don’t burn calories like I should, so in return I don’t need as much food as I should.

Yes at least I’m not going backwards. That can happen!

substitute yogurt for sour cream and you can trade for a bit of wonderful guacamole. Great dedication so far, keep it goin'

Sorry to hear avocados make you sick. I love them, hubby not so much but I use them to replace Mayo or Miricle Whip when I make 🥚egg salad, and he seldom notices the difference. Lol

Abigboy I use to do low fat diets so I used plain Greek yogurt for sour cream and loved it! Now the sour cream is how I get the extra fat I need 👍

curious doesn't full fat yogurt have decent fat?? I can't have those kind of things so don't know. If avocado's cause you problems and you seem to retain water, it is just not worth it to me to have to deal with it.

Do you work in healthcare? A lot of people who have for years (going back to when gloves were made of latex with powder) developed a latex allergy. My husband has it pretty bad. Avocados are loaded with natural latex-as are kiwis and bananas. If you need to spend time in a hospital, mention that avocados make you sick to make certain it's not a latex issue. (that's not the proper science, of course, but in layman's terms!)

There is full fat yogurt but I’ve never tried it. I’m definetly not allergic to latex 👍😉 😜 I also do great with bananas but have rarely ever eaten kiwis. I’ve been eating quac for years (about 5 years, use to think they were weird) but have just started buying actual avocados. I could never figure out if they were ripe or not lol I don’t know why they make me sick 😞 Maybe one day I’ll experiment and just eat avocado by itself and see what happens

Avocados 101: If Avocados are hard when you gently squeeze them they are not ripe enough to eat. If they give a little to pressure they are good for slices, as on a sandwich or to add to a salad in chunks. If they feel softer they are good to mach and use in guacamole ir in a dressing. Or spread like butter or mayo. I use them in all stages of ripeness.

CrashTestDawnie Full fat plain yogurt is orgasmic. The taste and texture is similar to a thick rich sour cream. It's nothing like the low fat yogurts that taste like the thickeners they use to thicken them with, which is often corn starch. If you like fruit in your yogurt use fresh or frozen berries in the full fat plain yogurt. As an old child of the 60's we never accept the stuff they call yogurt today as 'real' yogurt.
