Ripe fresh figs taste simply amazing! I realized that I probably have never eaten them ripe before - they taste so much better than I ever know. Together with plain yogurt and nuts (I added walnuts) this makes a breakfast for champions!

My parents had a fig tree in their backyard for years and years. I sure miss figs. Keep thinking I'll plant me a tree.

Out of all the foods I used to eat, fruit is the one I miss. It might be the only one I miss.
