Started a weight training class today, think it is going to kick my butt and be awesome for my body. I'm sure I'll be very sore tomorrow, but very excited about it. I stopped Zumba - though it was fun, I felt it was repetetive and being it took me all these years to convince the hubby to get me an elliptical and he finally pulled through and got me an awesome one, I should get my cardio at home :) I realized I am worrying/stressing/whatever WAY too much over this dieting thing. I've been tracking my calories at the daily plate, and changing my goals every week, etc. I decided I'm over it, I'm just going to stick to weight watchers and track my points and not worry about how fast it's coming off. It might take longer, but I know I can keep it off that way, and I can stop worry about doing this as fast as possible and just accept that it's going to take a while, duh!! I'm content! This is the second day in the past 7 that I've rearranged the living and family rooms only to put everything back where it started, I HATE that. There's always a piece or two in the room that just can't be moved due to whatever reason, and it throws everything off!! Oh well, guess I got a bit of an extra non planned work out!

You have got the right attitude about not trying to rush your weight loss. Sometimes it just seems like it comes off so slowly or not at all and it is frustrating and stressful. But that stress won't help you lose weight any faster! Weight training is a great way to tone your muscles. I took weight training classes at the gym a long time ago and loved it and I learned the proper way to lift weights. Now I have a weight machine at home that I work out on. You are definitely on the right track! Your exercise and points intake today look great! Hang in there!

You sound like you are doing great! Kicking up the exercise and finding the food plan that works for you! Awesome job. If you find your weight loss is not where you want it to be on WW, change up your points a bit. I did with mine and it kick started my weight loss after a 2 week plateau and I have been losing steadily ever since. I go lower Monday to Thursday and normal to high on Thursday to Sunday. But you are right to be content that it will take a while. If you can make your new habits second nature, you won't even have to think about it anymore and the next thing you know, you'll be skinny! You can do it! Have a terrific Tuesday!

wow! Remember when you start a new program and are sore, you might see a gain on the scale. It is temporary! Drink lots of water. The strength training will help you build muscle and lose inches. Whoo hoo for you!

I think less stress is a great thing when it comes to dieting. Stick to what you know works and be patient with your body. It will come off. :)
