Hello! New user...question....
That's a lot of calories? Maybe did you do something wrong? I mean you can't eat that much if you don't exercise. That way you'll put on weight, not lose.
The more you weigh the less calories you should eat, because you have a low maintenance level. For example when I was 170 lbs my maintenance level was 1300 calories and now that I'm 140 lbs and I exercise daily it's 2600 calories.
So, I suggest eating 1200-1400 calories daily and do some cardio. It will really help you lose wight and fat.
Good luck with your journey! Smile

How long does it take to lose 3 inches from your thighs...?
How long does it take to lose like 3 inches of fat from your thighs?
And yes, I know what all of you are going to say! There is no such a thing as spot reduction, you lose fat from everywhere , just eat less and train more.
I know that, and that's actually what I'm doing!
I am doing cardio almost every day and some strength training of course and in one month and a half, I lost 1,9 inches, although I don't see any difference from before.
Well, anyway, I was just wondering how long you think it's gonna take to lose those 3 inches?
I've set myself a deadline of 7 months, but still....

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
I used to weight daily but now every Monday. Since I have lost all the pounds I wanted to lose I don't weigh myself often. It's also very stressing to do that everyday.

You don't need a machine to do lunges. First work on your form without weights. Then all you need is a dumbbell in each had. There are also things called power bands that you wrap around your outer thighs or ankles and they had resistance. Just remember "butt back", ankle and knee stay in align, forming a 90 degree angle. You should be able to pull your toes up off the floor if you are doing them right...goes for squats too.

If your gym offers fitness classes, get in there and do a kick boxing class...great for the legs.

I know you don't need a machine to do lunges.
Sadly, I don't have time to join a fitness class, because I don't have a certain schedule, and that's why I have to go whenever I can ever for half an hour.

lunges, lunges, lunges and lots of cardio, and of course eating well! I have always had larger thighs and after doing a million lunges I have legs that people complement me on now. I joined a Jazzercise class which incorporates both lunges and cardio. it was the best thing I ever did. The machines are great for toning but if you have large thighs and you use machines they will get somewhat larger but more toned so you need both all three; cardio, strength training and diet...the holy trinity!

The machines I am gonna use is the running machine, the elliptical, and the bike station, which are great for cardio, and you don't buff! But I also want to do some strength training and I don't know which machines to use.
You do lunges every day and how many?
