Happy Mothers day to all you Mothers out there!!
The job we do is difficult, we give our best, do the most&....
I hope it’s a special day for all of you out there!
I have been killing myself in the garden. I will post the before & after later. Honestly, where there was NO garden path I found one! It’s beautiful!but, all this hard work is killing my back and legs. Tonight was a magnificent Keto salad, sadly; I found comfort in a very nice wine which took away those nasty spasms. I wish a pill would be as effective. Pot is legal in Maine, does it help spasms? I would be Keto then!!!

Ok! I’m violating my own rules. Finally things have started to feminist in front of my eyes! I jumped on the scale and — shear delight!!! Of course next week I am going on a yoga retreat ( strange non Keto foods); then on to visit our friends from distant lands for 4 days! We always ‘do’ cocktails, wine and fine dining... and I love it! This is going to challenge me to the core! I hope I can be strong and stay on target! Somehow, this morning in the comfort of my home I intellectually know NO drink is worth it; NO bread or pasta or desert can make me feel better than I will without so much weight. I have so struggled and tried and obsessed over weight loss. Next weekend will be the ultimate challenge! Who’s the biggest looser? My psyche or my scale? Stay tuned to see! Oh, and happy Mother’s Day to all you wonderful women who shape the world by your love and hard work of raising wonderful self-sustaining children!!!!!

Well well. I’m not even sad. I feel good again, and quite frankly that’s everything. I was a bit worried. I’m the type that doesn’t get a zit- no it’s definitely skin cancer until it goes away. Total worry wart. This time my husband suggested going to a doctor! Boy that scared me!!!
So, back in the saddle, wiser and happy to be moving forward. I have been listening to Eric Westman MD from DukeU. I like what he says, or how he breaks down Keto. Does anyone in this community have his page 4???? I’d love a copy. Intuitively I know what’s on it, but it seems like the holy grail. Happy midweek mates!

Monday’s will be my official weigh-day. After horrid flu, I lost electrolytes, water and the scale and I were in harmony! Actually lost so much fast, I prayed for stabilisation and health. I got it!!! Now my weight is up a bit, so official Monday’s have been instituted. I think it’s best to eat healthy, feel good and let the body do what the body goes! I got way to obsessed with macros, food, weight, water. Crazy. Thus is life, not a contest.

I feel sooooovery proud tonight!
First: no alcohol in a week! I have to keep going on this, I believe it is truly stalling my weight loss.
Second: ( this is yuuggge Donnie) my husband made vegetarian pad Thai and instead of pasta I used cauliflower rice! I forgot about zooddles, next time. He assigned me the task of doing something with 1# of ground land. Boom! I made Thai Larb with cashews instead of peanuts. A March made in heaven. Happy moma and happy family!
