How in God's name did I gain a pound? I've been almost psychotic with what I eat. I don't ever stray from my two shakes or two bars and one meal a day. The only thing I did differently was I took a night off from working out. Today, I'm cutting out all of my Snacks, cutting my 400 - 600 calorie meal down to a 200 - 300 calorie meal and working out. God, I'm so bummed. I was expecting to see 153 when I woke up, not 155.

YAY! I'm almost at the 10-pound mark! I've steadily lost a pound every day and that's probably because I've been going psycho at the gym every night. Well, after last night, I don't think my body can handle any Pilates tonight so I'm going to - gasp - rest instead of hitting the gym this evening. I'll get in my sit-ups and push-ups but aaaah, the urge to do cardio is going to be hard.

I don't understand people rewarding themselves with food for achieving weight-loss goals. "Ooh, I lost a pound - let's celebrate at Jack in the Box!" NO! This is the problem with the way our country thinks. We're so focused on food, even when we're dieting.
When I reach my goal - and I don't have a goal, I'll stop losing weight when I'm 100 percent happy with the way I look and feel - I'll buy myself an amazing Botkier handbag. Or an entire day of massages and facials. Or a sexy pair of Choos to walk my skinny self around in. Now THOSE are rewards!
