Video? Oh no! that is probably the second time in my life ( when every one has a recorder) that I am grateful there is no video. The first was in MS. I was on the roof clearing the gutters for Mom and found a crapton of fire ants. I was slapping my self trying to get them off TOTALLY OBLIVIOUS TO THE WORLD. Loosing the battle with the ants, I started stripping on the roof under God's blue sky. So I'm slapping, wiggling, stripping, cussing, yelling for mom to get the hose, a true epic meme this would have been crazy fat lady stripping on the roof! So during my little "dance" I lost my balance and rolled off the roof into the Azalea bushes and the front yard. Kinda lay there for a few seconds in me unmentionables dazed, being grateful that after inventory I had no broken bones....then Inoticed the ants...(excessive swearing censored) so now the crazy lady in her undies is "dancing" on the front lawn in full view of the highway I might add. Finally got to the shower and got them off. Bites every where. the nice little yellow blisters that burn and burn.... I had to take a bath scrubby and vinegar to them , pop them and while the vinegar stung a little it did stop the burning. then off to the E.R. because my face was swelling. then there were 4 days of looking like an infected strawberry.... Yes I am grateful to have escaped the epic meme video.

Happy early Father's Day. My husband has no children. We have dogs. So silly me decides he needs a card from the dogs.. I got a card and decided a paw print would be cute one from each like a signature. I got out the craft paint and a wet rag to get the paint off the paws, paper platesand a brush I decided red , pink and green . It's cool out this morning so I am going to start Abbey ( the Jack russel) so I put my thin layer of paint on the plate and went to find her,. She knew something was up and she wasn't about getting involved. I gave up chasing her and waited on the couch for her to come snuggle. She finally did and I got my hands on a paw. I got the heartbroken look of betrayal! went to put her paw in the paint....dry. so I have to let the paw go this time while. I waited, I kept the paint wet. Aside from the dirty look that one went pretty well. Cleaning the paw was fairly easy. Then there was Sadie [ dachshund] catching her was easier her favorite place is the bed was a simple matter to throw a blanket over her and hunt for what I needed. got the paw gently and you would have thought I was cutting it off with a dull grapefruit spoon! The noise ... I held her tight and tried to calm her.. eventually got the deed done. Then there was Bear the 70 pound Shepard. At this point I am questioning myself Do I want to do this or waste the money? I didn't want to waste the money nor did I particularly want to do it. anymore. I spent 45 minutes catching while trying to keep the paint wet...caught him got the paw wrestling for possession and position. I ended up straddling him like a horse holding the paw and finally managed to get the plate pressed on the paw. Then the struggle got real while holding this paw I landed face first in the grass away from the #=$%!×@$&%#× card. so the wrestle wiggle was invented finally reached the drafted card , lucky it was near the paint cuz....dry. slathered paint on my hand, at this point being propper with the paint brush is not an option. got paint on his paw wrestled the card up to the paw and released my victim. IT WAS DONE! Hindsight probably should not have chosen red... the card looks like it was a blood bath.

Today I'm going to take it easy. As I can anyway..lol..no gardening no eating. late start, it's already 6am. Need to go out and do my chores while it is still cool. lucky for me it's only supposed to be 85 . Avoiding the air conditioner as long as possible. once we get a week of solid 100+ temps all bets are off and I will be gardening at night. Hubby has to go play with the idiots at work, instead of the idiot at home...lol ( I was thinking it too), I don't think I have heard such halfassed "organization" they've been trying to count all week plus take care of customers. the paperwork is FUBAR and overtime is through the roof. would have been cheaper to shut down for a day probably much less of a circle jerk too. I'm at the bottom of my second cup... time to make the donuts. Btw. the sweet potato brownies were not a total fail. VERY MOIST a little bitter not enough sweet. with some tweaking ...maybe. I shall move on that powdered zucchini brownies. No you can't have the recipe, haven't made it up yet. I will share once I am done eating my failures. ( snicker). I f you fail spectacularly may it still be tasty. Have a fantastic Saturday kiddies.
