I was on spring break last week and did not log food. I drank beer and just enjoyed a week off. I did hit it hard at the gym 3 days, though. Tried to be mindful about what I ate, and still tried to steer away from animal products. It's a process. We have 7 weeks left of the semester, and I'll be super-busy, so staying on track with FS and the gym will be good for me. It's all down hill from here!

I ate half of something called a Krispie today. It's like a flat cinnamon roll/churro thing and looked delicious. Now my stomach hurts and now I remember why I don't like donuts. Won't be doing that again.
Also, this is a week of pure craziness; I'll be lucky to get to the gym even once. I have two middle schoolers, one had a LOOOONG band concert last night and the other has an orchestra concert tonight. They both leave at noon on Thursday for a wrestling tournament 4 hours away, so I have to make sure they have clean gear, food packed, sleeping bags, money, etc. etc. so they can leave school and be gone for 2 nights. Not to mention a super busy week at work. Good times!
It would be nice if we could just be in our routines, eat right, work out and get good sleep every day, but life just isn't like that, so here's to flexibility.

My 12 year old recently discovered that he likes steamed broccoli. He asked if you can overdose on broccoli (like kale or carrots, where you turn orange). No, son. You're 12 & you like broccoli, eat as much as your heart desires, lol!
