note to self. . .DO NOT EAT THE WHOLE RANCH COBB SALAD FROM WALMART. Over 13 grams of carbs???? What??? Didn't realize it untill I ate it and went to log it in. Ok, so no carbs tonight. . . let's see how this goes. Next time, I will eat half for lunch and save half for dinner. I didn't eat the egg or the carrots, so that may have saved me a couple of carbs. . .

doing really well this time around Atkins. Went a little over my calorie range yesterday, I like to keep my calories around 1200. Carbs were in range though. I over ate allowable foods and felt bloated and yucky. I hoped on the scale this morning for another pound lost, though (13 and counting:))

Went to Applebees last night with Shan, was so proud of myself for sticking to plan. I looked up Applebees nutrition info. online before I went and already knew what I would be having. I ordered the 7 oz Sirloin and instead of their seasoned veggies (which does have carrots), I asked for broccoli with cheese. MAN! Talk about a great dinner. Shan ordered Spinach Artichoke Dip, I enjoyed two tablespoons of dip, with no chips, and was satisfied. Water to drink. I left, for the very first time, completely satisfied and not stuffed. Woke up this morning 2 lbs lighter. I've now lost 8 lbs in one week.
I can really do this.

Ok, enough is enough. Been dieting for 30 yrs now, when am i going to be consistant enough to get ALL of it off, for GOOD. I bet I've lost 200 lbs over the course of my lifetime.
This year is my year to lose for good. No going back now.
I will walk atleast 30 minutes 5 days a week. My normal walk by the lake normally takes an hour, so I will definetly be putting extra time in.
I will go back to the induction phase of Atkins, and stick with it.
My goal is 10 lbs. a month, having me to my goal weight of 160 by October of this year. Before the hot Florida summer starts, I should be atleast half way there at 40 lbs lost, putting me at the lovely "under 200 point".
The one thing I will do different this time is I will surrender my weight to God and if I do my part, He will do the rest.
