I decided last weekend to switch back to Atkins for a while. My husband and I have done Atkins before with good results, and believe it or not, I personally find it easier on the grocery budget than many of the other plans. Nothing is "packaged".
Since last Saturday, I've lost 4 pounds and hubby has lost 8! I guess sometimes it doesn't hurt to mix it up a bit. :) I hope everyone is having a good week.

Whoo-hoo! After ten days, I'm down 4 pounds and have lost 1.5" from my waist! I'm a happy camper. :) And I haven't been getting the amount of exercise I *should* be getting, due mostly to the weather. I love this plan.

Ugh. The hubster and I both have horrible colds/flu. The kind that knocks you flat on your tush! The only good thing about it is that I don't feel much like eating at all...which isn't *really* good because then I find myself "making do" with something that's easy, but not necessarily part of the program. I won't weigh myself again for a few days and I'm anxious to measure my waist. The jeans are a tad looser for sure. And that's encouraging!

I stepped on the scale this morning, though I vowed I would only weigh in once a week, at most. After just three days, I was thrilled to be down 2lbs already. I won't do measurements until the end of the week. So, I'm pleased. One of the YOU soups has been my saving grace! Great for snacks...and I've had it with salad for lunch as well. There have been some slips, of course, but I'm pleased, and best of all, I still feel motivated. This is the best ever. I need to make up a menu for the next week and take it with me when I get this week's groceries. So, all in all, it's been a great and encouraging start!
