ATKINS DIETERS NEED TO READ THIS...Using the food journal has saved my diet! Thank you Rob.c.weiss.......oh my goodness...ive been dieting like a fool...no wonder I couldnt stop eating!!!!! I was only counting carbs, never counting calories, turns out I was getting less than 700 calories a day...my body was starving!!! I cant believe ive been doing it so wrong for so long...take a look at my food journal and I will literally be eating all day to get the calories I need on the Atkins diet. And surprisingly there are some foods I have been eating that are terrible. Such as cooked broccoli 1 cup has 11 carbs and only 55 calories. Broccoli has been a staple for me this last week. Wow im flabbergasted!

I mostly follow the Atkins program but I have such a hard time keeping my fats down...I get plenty of veggies and definitely plenty of proteins but the salad dressing and sweet n low kills me...im an avid coffee drinker and 2 cups a day is so little! But im working on kicking my caffeine habit because I know it makes my cravings worse. Also sunflower seeds...I eat a bag a day...its terrible...I get half of my 20 carbs a day from them...so also have to break that habit. Im still in the induction phase and havent even lost an ounce! Gotta get it in check yall!

Its been a long couple of years. Two surgeries and literally months of inactivity and wasted days. Im better than this. Im healthier than this. Im not going to let my physical problems hold me down anymore. They are not an excuse to lie down. They are not an excuse to eat whenever and whatever I want. I deserve to be healthy. I cant lift more than 20 pounds for the rest of my life and im carrying around an extra 30 pounds every day. I dont know how or why God has decided it would be me to fight this battle but today I will make the best of it. I cant do much but I can do something and I will be better for my family!
