Emotional, miserable day. Trying to break selfish, self-indulgent habits, and feeling so weak. I would rather walk barefoot on broken glass than make these changes.
On the upside, I didn't fuck up by eating poorly. So that's something.

Did great eating-wise even though the day itself was a total emotional shit show. Fought with husband, fought with best friend, people in my life not keeping their word. Employees giving notice that they're quitting. But I will not be swayed by any of this. Eating poorly on a bad day just gives me one more problem, whereas doing well gives me at least ONE win for the day!

Tough day emotionally, but despite that, I stuck to my plan. When feeling weak, I found that writing, working, or talking to a friend can center me quickly. It's kind of amazing. I'm committed to making better use of this app for the purpose of tracking workouts (especially with regard to VR), venting my emotional garbage, and tracking food.
Without wanting to obsess on how my body looks, I may as well do the best with what nature gave me. After all, your soul has to live somewhere!
