Hello everyone. My name is Meagan. I am 21 years old. I have lived in Texas my whole life. I sing and play the piano in church. I was an only child until I was about 13 years old. My parents had divorced and both got remarried and had other kids. Between the two of them I have 3 brothers. All alot younger than me. I saw this website in a magazie and decided to join since no one else around me seems to want to change there lifestyle. Just a few weeks ago my dad was diagnost with diabetes. And I am determined to do whatever it takes not to become like that. I do not want to have health problems at a young age so I am going to face this head on. I have a goal set in mind. That goal is to lose 80 to 100 pounds by Christmas. And at least 40 to 50 pounds by September. I feel like that is a goal that can be accomplished. I am looking forward to the change in my life. And I hope I can be an inspiration to others in my family with weight problems.

30 Day Fast!
Ok everyone... I will be off the internet for 30 days. Our pastor called our church to a 30 day fast consisting of: no tv, internet, and eating only one meal a day. Our church is small right now and he believes great things are going to happen for our church. So I will calculate what I eat in a notebook and then post it all after the fast. This will be a good time for me to get closer to God and to really concentrate on losing weight! I hope everyone does great and I will talk to yall in 30 days!!

Wish Me Luck
Ok today is my brother's 7th birthday and there is going to be lots of cake and pizza! Oh the temptation! Ha.... But I know I can do it. Last night I went to a party for a girl and they had cake and cheese dip. But i resisted! And I waited until i left and got me a salad.... So anyways.. wish me luck!

lemon water in the morning anyone?
I have heard alot of great things about it as well. As far as losing alot of weight in a short amount of time. However I tried the "master cleanse" with the pepper and syrup and I could not stomach the taste. But if you can then it definately works!!

Where my extra calories came from!!
I was looking back on my diet calendar trying to find out why I was eating so many calories (well more calories than I wanted to). I realized that the majority of them came from lunch where I had my bread and my crackers. And that adds up to be alot of carbs too. So For lunch today I just had some fajita chicken with no torillas and dinner I had a salad. It took my calorie intake so much further down! I am so happy. By the end of the week I will be back at the gym! SO EXCITED!!

fruits and veggies!!
For fruits I put either bananas or strawberries in my cereal in the morning. I also eat the other half of my banana at lunch instead of like a fruity gummy snack.
