TGIF! I'm ready for the weekend, just to sleep in. Thankfully we have no plans this weekend, but we're going to try to do some yard work and house cleaning. We've got a bunch of my husband's family coming next weekend, so we want to get some of those things done that we've been putting off.
I've done okay this week with my eating and exercise, so I'm happy with that. Now to try to keep that going over the weekend. Weekends are the worst for me. I have a hard time not getting into the junk food and keeping up with my fruits and veggies. I can do well during the day, then gorge on some sort of junk in the evening. I need to change that weekend routine. The weekend doesn't mean I can't plan and can "cheat". I've worked hard all week, why waste that work on the weekend. I'm all for eating a cheat meal or food every now and then, but I don't need to do it all weekend.
Okay, enough of my ramblings. I hope everyone has a great Friday and a wonderful weekend!!

I haven't journaled in a while, I was sick and busy, but now I'm feeling better and things are slowing down, for today anyway. I'm back on track with my eating and exercise this week. I feel like being sick and not getting a couple of days of exercise last week really put me back, but it was probably more my junky eating than anything else. I definitely feel better when I'm eating better, but those darn junk foods are just too easy when you don't feel good and don't feel like you have energy to cut up fruits and veggies. Anyway, I'm doing well this week, so I'm just going to try to keep that momentum going.

This has been a bad week for my eating. I had a bingefest on Sunday, then did okay until yesterday, then I pretty much existed on peanut butter and tortilla chips. I was not feeling well, and I really didn't even have the energy to cut up fruit or veggies, so I was lazy and had zero will power. Today I'm still not feeling 100%, I ate a donut this morning, and I'm debating my workout this evening. I'll see if I have a fever when I'm off work, and that will be what makes the decision on my workout. I think I could do the workout, but I won't push myself if I have a fever, or I know I'll just be worse off tomorrow. Anyway, I'm going to concentrate on meal planning for next week and doing as well as I can each day. I feel like I've been moving backwards this past week or two, so I need to work on why that is and how to fix it when I start the backslide.

I did good with my eating on Friday and Saturday, but Sunday was terrible. Even with the sleepover Saturday, I had one piece of pizza and then a bunch of veggies, so nothing crazy. Then Sunday, I just wanted to eat all day. There were chips and ice cream, and not enough veggies. I woke up this morning feeling so bloated and just yucky. I was tired yesterday and feeling poorly too and I'm sure the junk food that I ate was what really did me in. All I can do now is keep moving forward.
Today I've done fine and haven't been craving anything. I'm planning to do my workout after work too, so I should be back on track.
