I came back from a weekend in Cape Cod MA. for a bible conference. The teaching was great and the concert with Fernando Ortega was wonderful.

It was over a 6 hr ride one way and the first night I got to the hotel, I found out there was NO ELEVATOR!!!
I have really bad knees and instead of fighting for a room on the first floor, I decided to grin and bear it. Well, it was good exercise and I was faithful in my eating (meals were included). Stayed away from the yummy looking carbs. Bread, muffins and danish. But loaded up on the protein and healthy carbs. eggs, bacon, tuna, chicken, fish... and veggies and salad.

I was afraid to look at the scale because for the trip going and returning I had a banana and cheese for a snack and Friday and Saturday I had a bowl of New England Clam Chowder which of course was high carb with refine flour. Well, in 2 days I lost 2 1/2 pounds. What a great surprise. It had to be the stair climbing.
The Lord works in mysterious ways. : )
