My day started early. I promised my honey I would make him a cake and I did. I also made a broccoli quiche. 2 mini loaves of pumpkin bread and and impossible pumpkin pie. He woke up and was in an aweful state- say he felt bad all over. He started to cry and tremble. I made him sit in down in his roll about and talk to me.
Poor guy is so worried about the cost of everything and the roof. Told him we have been thur a lot worse times. I then asked what is the worst that could happen? He just looked at me. I said take some deep breaths and hold them then release. We will make it. I usually am the one with the panic attacks, but today was his turn. He has been worrying about the money for the past couple of weeks. I have too, but honestly, we will make it... even if I have to get a job. At 75 it's not what I want to do, but if I have to I will. Say some prayer for my hubby that he overcomes his depression. Hugs to all! Have a blessed day....

My day started out so good. I slept all night- the first in weeks. woke up and felt wonderful. Enjoyed my Hazel nut flavoerd coffee. Then got dressed and decided to finish the cleaning off the dining room table and do a little Fall decorating. I did not see the empty came box on the floor - as I was trying to put the 20 pound weight from Grand Father clock (hubby was fixing) to another safe place. Tripped on the box and jammed my leg hip for the 2nd time in less then 4 days. Hurts so bad. I cried, could not move the pain was so bad. I managed to pull it together and carefully sit down. I can't believe I did this again. It happened months ago and was just feeling better. I took some Aleve and put on my tens unit on the lower butt cheek to block the pain.
I finished the table and went and made a meatloaf for dinner, having a salad and potato patties and green beans for dinner. Just going to take is easy for now. Hugs to all, Stay safe

Oh it feels so good to back and THANK YOU ALLK for Wecoming me back. I miss all of you. With Fall coming along with (hopefully some cooler weather) I would love to start walking. I oncw walked over a mile and half. I know it wasn't much but I was moving with severe back pain. I have no excuses now and need to get moving. I also need to find out 2 things 1- if the local Aquatic Therapy place offers water aerobics and 2. If the local gym still accepts Silver Sneaker- which is FREE. I really enjoyed the gym before COVID hit. I have made several batches of soup and they are in the freeze for lunches for Hubby and I. I have some recipes I would like to try that are lower carbs but need to add some protein to them. Will be checking our recipe base for ideas. We were given several meals for Hubby for his post op recovery that are very health, portion control and none over 400 calories. They are all frozen and you nuke them for 7-10 minutes and dinner is served. Not bad and when I eat them I do not seem to want to eat later. My biggest problem is my sweet tooth. So need to make a treat for me. Have a wonderful day - stay safe and HUGS to all.
