I hate when I think I plan a good menu and while it is under my carb limit the calories turn out to be WAY low. Like today at 815 calories. All I have that I can add are more veggies. My protein is parsed out.

I feel a lot better today. I even decided I wanted Everything Hashbrowns for breakfast. I have a love affair with potatoes. I try not to eat them to much because of the high starch and carbs. I never sat down to figure out the calories and nutritional info on it. Worse than I thought. They used to have a half order but they removed it from the menu and won't make it anymore. I always got the half order in the past. It takes me an hour to an hour and a half to eat it. Some days it is also lunch. So, I may or may not eat my scheduled lunch. Depends on if I'm still feeling full. It would be better to leave it until tomorrow. I probably shouldn't have gotten the lean cuisine lunches because of the carbs but they were on sale for 1.49 a box and I had a really limited grocery budget this pay period. I put today's breakfast on a card. I wanted it that much that I was willing to do it. I used to have a list that said if you are craving one thing, you are craving a particular nutrient, and provided alternative foods to get that nutrient. I wish I knew what I did with it.

I have had an upset stomach all day. I didn't feel like my lunch. The only thing that sounded edible was toast or crackers. So I got toast for lunch. It actually shaved off a few carbs. I'm a little surprised at that. Oh well. I am still way over 100 carbs. But if I don't feel well and not like I want my dinner, I may end up eating plain eggs and that will drop my carbs. I should probably do that anyway. I don't think the spinach dip I ate agreed with me.

While I hit 228 and then popped back up 234 and have been slowing going back down, in the time between then and now, I also lost a couple more inches. So I call that good. I have noticed when I go down suddenly and then back up quickly, it is followed by a period where my weight doesn't move very much but my inches go down a little. So I guess it is just the body 'settling'. You know, like a house settling. Poor comparison, but it the only theory I have.
