Well I've lost 2 kg in 3 weeks which is about the rate I'd like to lose it. I've also put muscle on. I actually recorded 71.9 on the scales this morning... but I think it was a fluke. Didn't trust it. I'll record it when I get that 2 times in a run!!
Ride was energetic today and I really worked up a sweat. It was 41 km from Tuross to Moruya and back to the Bingi turnoff. Nuisance having to shuttle cars... but worked out OK. I did not stop on the way from Moruya to Bingi: about 18 km of hilly road part of it dirt road. Took about an hour. Good sweat and workout. Heart going... good for my fitness. Hopefully getting the body revving the calories...!!
Time for a bath to get rid of all this sweat... then off to buy some healthy food. Running out of protein options. Chicken breast for tea...
Later. Well it tells me I am -1600 calories which is a lot. I am not hungry after dinner. I am exhausted though and will certainly sleep well tonight!! I suspect that those calories kind of get burned off in the next day and a half... exercise like that seems to leave my metabolism revving. I don't have any exercise scheduled tomorrow... no ride and probably shouldn't after a hard ride today... no swimming - the pools are all closed. No kayacking scheduled... unless I go on my own. But I find that hard to be motivated to do. Maybe I'll go to a gym class... and do yoga of course.

Have been away for a few days so have not been following strictly. I've had wine for the last 2 nights and meals with Soph and Will on Friday and a meal out last night. Weight this morning was 72.5. I don't think the damage is too great ... been pretty good... just time to follow the diet again!!
Followed it pretty well today and although no scheduled exercise I ended up doing probably just over 2 hours of gardening... started by mowing the lawn this morning with the hand-mower and then ended up pulling up grass on the kerb and spreading mulch over the area. (Replacing the kerb horrible couch grass with plants.) Certainly burned a few calories and worked up a sweat. Bike ride in the morning...

Kayaking today. Need to go and get the kayak off the car and wash the car and kayak. I was on the lake for 3 hours but we had a stop and paddled pretty casually so called it 2. There is another hour of fiddling around too... loading kayak on car... unloading.... loading it up etc. But their exercise calories are generous so just called it 2 hours. Took the car to the car wash later too.
It was lovely - in Tuross around the lake.
Waist feels good. I've taken a couple of cms off the waist. The excess I put on my bust has gone too and I am back to my normal bras fit which feels good... taking the back in a setting and it fits better. Great.
I've a lot to go yet... about 6 kg. But I do feel that the last couple of kg have been actually more than that because I have toned up so much: I have leg muscles now and shoulder muscles, and yoga is shaping up my torso as well - the abs are getting stronger.

Giving up the grog completely and making sure I exercise every week as well as portion count is paying dividends this week. I have felt really good and satisfied all through the day. I have been having a small breakfast, doing yoga and then having a brunch style hot meal (eg eggs, haloumi and veggies) which keeps me going for most of the afternoon. Then try to control my appetite a bit in the evening until 9 when I'm ready for bed!! Toughest times are 5 til about 8 when appetite need small lean meat and veg with some treats - eg nuts in small amounts or yogurt (measured portion) with apple. Seems to be working.
