This morning weighed in at 70.4 which was a pleasant surprise. I've been half expecting my weight to go rocketing back up since it went downso quickly. Looks like I am actually losing weight. It will be interesting to weigh in the next couple of days since I am cycling today and tomorrow and my theory is that muscle retains water when you exercise and hence weighs more. So could go up in next couple of days. Doesn't matter because I seem to be losing it overall. Just day-to-day fluctuations.
I am really happy with it!! Half-way roughly to my goal and fit with it.
A few days off coming up but will still monitor. Not hard to do with G since he has been doing same diet!!

Scales were well down again today... Can't believe the weight has dived so much. I think it is because I was very active last week and that tends to add fluid to the muscles and that has gone this week with less activity. It will probably plateau for a week or so at some point. Good to see results though. Nearly in the 60s. Swim today and tidy up round here.
Wear my new t-shirt and top today... do wash and get ready for a good weekend catchup on the weekend. Leading the ride tomorrow as well.

Last night I stressed out when G spoke to me about his ex. I went out and got a packet of cigarettes... I don't smoke!! I stressed out for the evening with a throw back to the stress I went through in the years leading up to my retirement... financial and the deaths and stress going on in the family with endless trips to England etc etc. No need for me to stress... it is not my problem now at all, but I did last night and did not sleep. Slept for about 2 hours and woke up weighing.. 70.6 although I recorded 70.7. It is a sudden and artificial loss I think which will consolidate at about 70.9 I think when I go for another bike ride. (That tends to put fluid into the muscles and toned muscles weigh more). Could not ride today: I forgot to register my car and needed it to go to the group ride. Oh well. Got some sorting out done instead.
It is good to be feeling a lot slimmer and getting back into the 60s kgs is in sight. Good feeling. Bought a quality T-shirt and warm top from Harrisons - navy blue and very slimming. They suit me. Will go well with jeans. Great to have a bit of a 'new look' to go with the hopefully new slimmer-again me.
I will be patient if my weight loss does not continue at this rate in the next week... I think it will just consolidate. Plus I will take the weekend off since I am catching up with Garry and will probably drink wine on Saturday and Sunday, maybe Monday too!! Won't go too crazy though.
I will be happy if my weight is 70.9 this time next week (Tuesday or Wednesday). That will still be a good consolidated loss.
I think slow weight loss will be more sustainable. If I lose it too quickly I think it will go straight back on.
