A good loss considering its only a couple of days. I feel so much better eating less and healthier but do feel hungry as I've got used to eating more and when I like.
I have discovered that I have an extra incentive to lose weight and look my best. A week before the wedding there is a 4th birthday party for my triplet granddaughters. My ex husband will be there with his latest wife.
I feel quite anxious about seeing him because he was a bully, very controlling and had numerous affairs making me feel totally inadequate. I met him when I was 14 and it took me 30 years to find the courage to leave him, so it's a big deal seeing him again.
I really want to feel confident and self assured when I see him and show him I have moved on and am happy (thanks to my second husband who is wonderful and helped me put my life back together and makes me feel that I am a good person) but I am worried I will just revert to the frightened little mouse I used to be.
Only 30 days to the party 36 until the wedding 😯

Well it's a gain but it could have been so much worse.
All our visitors have left and I am absolutely shattered. I know it will take me a while to recover as my fibromyalgia has flared up again but we have made so many wonderful memories to keep and cherish so it was all worth it.
Now to concentrate on getting back on track. I won't lose all that I wanted to before my niece's wedding but just need to reconsider what I am going to wear and be content with that but to be honest I do still feel disappointed.
Back to recording EVERYTHING I am eating and try and do more walking.
I will record my weight again on Friday and see how it's going.

Only half a kilo lost but it's better than nothing, I'm a little bit disappointed as I had eaten less and exercised more in readiness for our visitors, hoping I could lose more this week and so their visit wouldn't impact so much on my weight.
My husband isn't very well at the moment so his mobility has greatly decreased which means I have had the added stress of caring for him as well as me having a bad back so things haven't been so good this week
Never mind it's only a small thing in the great scheme of things and I knew that my weight loss would slow down.
Now the challenge begins, two weeks of lovely food to tempt me 😋

Feeling very pleased another kilo gone.
I have one more week before we have 18 days of visitors which I know is going to be very difficult as they are very big eaters and love food and eating what seems like all day and night. One saving grace is that they aren't big drinkers so I won't be lured towards alcohol (I am very easily led 😉).
I am going to find this a real challenge because I don't want them to notice me watching what I eat. They are very overweight and know that they need to consider their health (they have a young baby) but are adamant that they are happy as they are and don't see why they should 'conform' and are quite vocal about it.
I would hate to spoil their holiday with us but really don't want to undo all the good I have don and the wedding isn't so far away so now I'm panicking a bit 😕

Another kilo down, so happy and quite proud of myself. Food intake good and healthy and I'm keeping up with my exercise 😀
I have finally managed to get my husband to use this site. He needs to lose a lot of weight for health reasons and especially as he has surgery plans in the future. He is struggling with logging in all the food he eats during a day but it is highlighting how much he eats and where the calories are which has been a real eye opener for him.
So all good and positive here even if we both do have a long journey ahead.
