I'm a 32 year old nurse (just graduated and started working) and well, I weigh too much.
I quit smoking and started taking meds that cause weight gain about 4-5 years ago, and gained 50 pounds - it's like my metabolism just suddenly changed on me, and I've not been able to get back down to a normal weight.
I have tried both Atkins and South Beach in the past, but I lost weight and then gained it back, plus some, just as fast - they just aren't for me.
So, here we are at Weight Watchers. It seems to be the healthiest and most logical of all diets, in my opinion. A true "way of eating" as opposed to a diet.
So, I'm hoping it'll work - when I first signed up here, I was going to try South Beach again, but got discouraged and never bothered - and now I'm happy about that, as the WW seems to be for me.
