It is funny how my weight goes up and down. I was 275lbs 2 years ago and an A1C of 7.3. Started intermittent fasting 8/16. stopped sugar drinks, and I loved a Mexican Coke daily, and only drink water 99% of time since.
This last week eating one meal and a snack which surprisingly has been easier than I would of thought. But read an article in the NYTimes about diets don't work and mindfulness does.
So today I am savoring my food, feeling the texture, thinking about the nutrients of this food versus other choices I make. I am trying to determine when I'm hungry in my body or in my brain. My Stomach lets my body tell me to eat and when I am full. My brain craves a particular food and drinking water can make that thought go away. I will now go by this method of eating and see how it goes. Will I lose weight, what do
you think?
