Well, it looks like my body is slowing down and trying to catch up with itself. I have lost 2 pounds this week, which is good. I haven't really done any exercise at all, so losing 9 lbs. in 11 days is very good for just changing the diet. If I were to step it up and do some exercise, I could seriously drop the weight. Will most likely start the exercising in the Feb time frame. Really needed to just get some of the weight off of me to breath better, ya know? Anyway....I am proud of the accomplishments I have made already, so I am gonna pat myself on the back and just go with it! :) Yeah me!

Good day self! You are doing so good on this diet thing. You should be so totally proud of yourself. You are making such good choices! Tonight its chicken stir fry, so I am not too sure how to figure out the calorie count though. Either way, it's gonna be yummy and you should be super duper proud, cause you are gonna make it this time. Good job girl! From, yourself! :)

Ok, since I got home from the weekend, I am doing really well on the diet or as my husband calls it -- the LIVE IT. I have learned how to cook 3 new meals this week...all pretty low fat! Italian Chicken Penne, Rice & Bean Enchiladas & Low Fat Lasagna. Go me! I have not learned how to cook for just a few people yet though so I am cooking the first part of the week and eating leftovers for lunch and dinner the rest of the week. There is one thing for sure this weekend, I won't be good. It is my birthday, so I suspect I will enjoy it! Birthday cake, ice cream and all. My goal here is to make a lifestyle change, not kill myself. The reality of it all is...you are going to have some "ugly foods" every once in awhile. However, they should be the exception and not the rule. So, I would consider my birthday "an exception." I will be weighing in on Saturday morning and again on Monday morning. It's only Wed, and I am eating much less than the 1200 calories I set out for myself. Weird...I am eating more frequently, but intake a lot less calories and tons less fat. It is very strange. So, I am giving myself a big thumbs up and we'll see what happens on Saturday morning for weigh in! :)

Ok, so it's Monday....I got through the weekend, a little scary around the edges, but I did ok. Actually I did better than usual, especially for being on the road. So...I will wait until tomorrow to weigh in again and see what really took place. But, I got right back on the stick today...which is totally what I need to do. I have to take it one meal at a time, not one day at a time. It's easier to bounce back! Keep you posted!
