Been a minute. I actually gained a bit back while I was unemployed, just checked for the first time in months and I'm back to the lowest I've been since I started. Still at it, just quietly.

uhhhhhhh its been a hot minute. i use fitbit way more than here hahaha.
i am currently halfway through a month-long food detox. minimal red meat, no processed foods, no added sugars, fats or salts, no alcohol or soda. i've lost quite a bit in just this month alone.
i'm currently reading up about ayurveda so that may be my next step. not sure yet.

I'm really annoyed bc over the past two months i haven't lost any weight at all. I havent gained either, but i'm trying to lose. i'm eating well within my TDEE, closer to the lower end, but idk. I think it's time to ramp up my gym time. i'm currently at 3 days a week for 25 mins cardio, i'm thinking it's time to start doing 4. honestly though, my caloric intake has been pretty good, and i'm feeling like i fit better in my clothes, so ultimately the scale not moving is just a formality. if anything, i'm eating closer to my BMR and that may be why i'm not seeing progess. on busy days i need to eat about 2500 to maintain my current weight so i should be losing a lot more from the scale. but who knows!
(also this journal isn't me asking for advice. please don't post any. i know yall mean well, but i know my body and my journey better than you do, and the last few times i posted i got a lot of people giving unsolicited advice and i don't want it. i'm just here to vent haha)

Today's workout felt like i did horribly but according to my stats, i did slightly better than usual. Huh. improvement, i guess!
also, i can't stop eating sushi. i've been eating it every day at least once for the past week. i usually stick to nigiri because it's better for you but they were out of my favorite pack at the grocery store(my local grocery store actually does halfway decent sushi at a reasonable price!) so i picked up a spicy tuna roll. all it had was the raw tuna, a bit of avocado, rice, nori, and spicy powder on top. it was pretty good but not nearly as filling so i'm still hungry and bummed out haha!
also, i got new workout clothes and i feel cute and like i have a lot more mobility! i also want to pick up a foam roller soon :)
