Weekends are my weak moment -
I am in a stressful relationship we live in a tiny apartment and I don't get a second to myself.


He also expects to be fed and doesn't help out. I usually console myself w/ food, treats etc. I was good today, a key thing is I kept busy.

When I got home I went to bed, after a super late lunch early dinner. I don't have a second to myself. I don't think my husband does it out of any kind of malice, Italians are real home bodies and he never goes out, he usually has to be forced to go out. To snap out of depressive behaviour I am always out, always doing and then I end up resenting him because he gets to enjoy our home but won't allow me. So that was my Saturday night. In bed by 7.

During the day I went to our community garden party/meeting, I made a cream cheese spread w/spices and boild asparagus I chopped into it. Yum! We ate it w/ beanitos chips, I had about 10.
Other than that I also went to our Wildflower Center plant sale, got some local plants that have flowers. I want native plant flower boquets later this summer and fll. I also went to my favorite store in Austin they are a food utensil and kitchen ware store. Locally owned, I bought these hand crafted artisanal vinegars from Virgina. They are not made from wine - I got spicebush, wildfower and ramps vinegar. They are used to finish dishes, and you can make cocktails, mocktails and shrubs with them. Very refershing in the oppressive Texas heat.

I ate well yesterday, one of my tasks is to tidy up a conference room that is being used by visiting analysts from our team but overseas.

The left cookies, luckily as I was tidying up I saw that the lady from Taiwan brought a coconut roll up wafer... 1 bite

And a sesame cookie, black and oily (asian desserts are strange) 1 bite and I tossed it.

I couldn't resist, but at least i didn't devour the entire thing.
I ignored the American Pecan Carmel Turtles :-) My weight is going down. I feel good, strong. The weight is coming down and I feel accomplished.

I will have 1 cocktail tonight - ice, lemon juice and espresso teaspoon of coconut nectar - 6 g of carbs, and Vodka. I bought a flask size bottle, small and will allow myself 1 drink per night on weekends and sip it. Not an alcoholic but I do love wine and the occasional stiff drink.
