I'm almost back to my pre-holiday weight. I am really digging the effects of this low-carb diet. I don't feel bloated anymore. I used to feel bloated quite literally all of the time. It was miserable. Now I feel trim and light.
I've also hit the gym 4 times this week (Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday). That's a big accomplishment right there.
For those of you going to the gym to workout, mind sharing your routine?
I've been doing 20-45 minutes of cardio(Arc Trainer) followed by ab work on a mat and weight training. I'm not using free-weights yet but I have learned how to use most of the machines. I push myself to try a new machine every week. I'd love to hear what's working for you and what isn't.

I am feeling much better today. I am still not below 20g but I'm doing well and have my fat intake at over 60% of my diet. :) I feel skinnier already.

Day 2 of low-carb ketogenic diet
I feel so tired and groggy. I hope this passes quickly. I thought it would be easy to cut my carbs down below 20g but I'm finding it is more difficult. I'm still consuming a small fraction of what my old diet consisted of but it's not under 20g yet.
Everything I love has carbs in it. I'm not even talking about the unhealthy foods either. I used to snack on blueberries like nobodies business but now I have to limit them. This is tough but most likely why I haven't seen the results I thought I would see.
