Still depending on the hubby for meals since I can't cook. He's done pretty well considering it's been almost a month, and tonight was the first night he sprung ramen noodles on me. I've been eating a lot of fruit and yogurt as well as peanut butter. Water has been my only drink other than a random diet coke or coffee.

Physical therapy has gotten tough, but I keep telling myself it will get harder before it gets better, and this is just part of it... I have to cry sometimes. I keep a smile on for my family as much as I can, but every once in a while I have to let it go and just cry. Then I take a deep breath and keep going.

Scripture, prayer, and keeping my head full of positive music has been a big help in keeping the dark demon of depression from returning. Depression is why I started getting serious about exercise and eating healthy to being with, hence the knee injury. It will get better, and there will be a testimony to give God glory in this.

First day of PT today. My life is extremely goal oriented right now lol. First post-op visit was Wednesday, and my ortho said everything looks "perfect". He was pleased with my straight leg raises, heel pumps, and flexion.

Really, REALLY, doing my best to find something positive everyday at home. I'm a housewife with a certain way of doing my own things, and it's been really hard to watch someone else do it for me. I'm grateful for it, but I will be so glad when I'm not such a burden on my family anymore.

Already lost a pound, and I'm sure I'd lost more the first week due to the anesthesia. I'm relieved to have been able to get on the scale this morning and find I'd kept one pound from creeping back along with my appetite.

Keep praying for me, guys. It's a long road ahead, but it could always be worse.
