Hi! I have never had an issue with weight until a serious car accident kept me bed bound for almost 6 months. and even then i was only maybe 15 pounds overweight after that. my injury prevented me from being able to workout because of the nerve damage and pain. my weight climbed up to about 180. then i got pregnant....after my little boy was born i then was at 190-200 depending on the week. his father was then deployed to afghanistan and i got up to 221. i started weight watchers (i wanted to impress him upon his return lol) and got back down to 197 and held that steady but no more weight would come off and i felt starved! when josh returned from afghanistan we seemed to be going out to eat and traveling to see all our friends and family. i then started a new nerve medicine that has high rate of weight gain. so here i am at the heaviest i have ever been at 234. got a treadmill at home and started the south beach last week and lost 4 lbs. today i am at 231. i am excited to find the old me again!

have you heard of fitday?? lol under activities they have it broken down into 3 categories: active/vigorous, general/moderate, and passive/light effort. basically it says for 1 hour of the vigorous you only burn 39 calories.....that cant be right i wouldnt think.....Wink
