Calories burned??
Side note: Of course, the BodyBugg kept track of all physical activity and graphed it also. I could see from the graph that I expended a lot of energy at the gym.

Calories burned??
I used the BodyBugg until the battery went dead. It kept track of your walking all day. It adds up, especially if you are walking all over the place, i.e. shopping, etc. I was shocked at how many calories are expended for gardening. Plus, I think some expend a different amount of calories depending on their weight, etc. This BodyBugg picked that up. Each person is different, and maybe they burn up energy faster than the next person. I think that is also the reason that treadmills w/computers tell you to plug in your weight. Also, age would play into also.

Losing weight too quickly!!!! Help!
If you really think that your weight loss is too quick for you, then increase your carbs a little. I lost 8.5 lbs in less than a week. But hey, no doughnuts and no big bags of M&Ms will do that, I would think.

And congrats.

How the heck?!?!?!?!
StevePl is right. I am no fitness guru---far from it. But logic tells, you that any movement is good for youself. Strengthening your muscles is important also... You may not have lost ounces or lbs for this period, but try using a tape measure and also measure your waist or your arms, etc. Start noticing if your pants/jeans fit better or you are not bulging out of a shirt or blouse. There are benefits to all exercise... and then you will soon want to crank it up a notch.
