Decided to get back in shape on my 66th birthday, 3 months after retiring! Pretty close to my goal now but it took me a long time to get there, lots of ups and downs along the way. Living in Oregon has made it a little easier, lots of fit people here.
Also, believe it or not American Ninja Warrior has been motivational for me. No way I could ever do what they do but watching them forces to me to get off the couch, watch my diet and hit the weights.
Couldn't have done this without Fat Secret.
Have reset my target weight to 172. Using dumbbells twice a week has given me better muscle tone and mass, so 172 seems like a reasonable goal weight. Good luck everybody!
