TOM again. This was my first time Running, and I think it works for cramps...I guess it helps to have your mind focused on something else. I've noticed my pants fitting looser again, so I'm happy about that! I'm going to try and get my friend to go running with me tonight. She's hit a rough patch in her marriage, and will be staying with me for a few days...maybe it will help take her mind off things...

Heather and I started the Couch to 5k program today. I'm glad I'm doing it with a partner this time. I think it will help me stay motivated. We've been walking together for a few weeks now, and we decided to do a 5k in May, so we have to train hard. Since today was day one, we jogged for 60 seconds, and then power walked for 2 minutes. Okay. The first 60 seconds was super easy. We were like "We can do this!" "It will be easy!" Yeah right. I won't lie and say that I made it through the entire 20 minutes without laying on the grass that thankfully wasn't in someone's front yard...no, I won't say that at all...
But, I only had to lie in the grass once, and it was only for 30-45 seconds. The area we walked in today has a 1.5 mile trail around a lake, so we went around twice in about 30 minutes. After that, we stretched again, and decided to do one more lap as a powerwalk. I know I'm going to be sore tomorrow, but I'm glad I got a really good workout in.

SIL and I are training to do a 5k in May, and we want to run the whole thing! Today is day one of training, I hope everything goes well!

Hooray for weight loss! I want to do the Avon Breast Cancer walk with my SIL in July, so we've been walking a few days a week, for a few miles each time. We are going to need up kick up our training if we are going to walk nearly 20 miles a day, but we can do it!!!

I went in to work today for a couple of hours, and I got to see where the business is moving, and I got to see my NEW OFFICE! I've never had an office before, just a cube, so I was very excited! It's huge (as in bigger than my master suite), and there is a window!
I've been doing horrible with my eating for the past few days...I've not been that hungry, so I don't really eat that much. I'm mainly snacking...some fruit here, a little salad there, and a good dinner. As far as calories go, it's about 1200, but it's nice because I haven't really been thinking about it, just eating what I feel like, when I feel like it...if only it was always this easy! Let's see what the scale says in a few days...
