Day 3 of 30 Day Xtend Barre Challenge via Openfit. I'm really loving it because it's so different from the HIIT workouts I'm used to doing. Also, it's crazy-the burn I get in my arms and upper back/shoulders - HURTS SO GOOD!
Also we are visiting family in Denver for 5 days. Today was a very long travel day, and crushed the eating game- even at the airport.Feeling very proud of myself!

Was 176 flat yesterday, but then had cheat dinner with one of my favorite people. Went to bar taco. They have taco (tapas size) and its so fun. I only had the tortilla on 2 of the 4 tacos. Had bib lettuce as the shell for the other 4. Had 1/2 serving of the Mexican street corn (which was really 1 serving) and a side of spicey marinated cucumbers. Lastly we had 3 cocktails. The restaurant actually lists the calorie count on all items on menu... how cool is that. I splurged last night. I could definitely see eating there for 950 calories (600 calories less). Denver Sat-Wed so that will be tough - traveling and staying at someone else' home. But I'll e doing my Xtend Barre work-outs and I'll stick as closely as I can do my regular diet.

This most recent weight loss journey I've been keeping a sharp eyes on my marcos. I've counted calories before and eaten low carb, I've never really looked at the the % breakdown of my macros. I've found it challenging to eat enough calories and get the %s "right"
Some meals are boring but I have been able to incorporate some fun meals (ex. ham, egg, and cheese sandwich thins.
Joined 30 day Xtend Barre Challenge and got an accountability partner. Today is day 1. Here we go....
