Okay, a new day, a new start. WW here I come! My husband has agreed to do this with me so hopefully this is the start of a new life for us. We're tired of telling our now 2 yr old daughter to do as we say and not as we do. I actually tell her that snickers bars are yucky while I'm eating one so that she doesn't get curious. I feel like a bad mom and it's time to stop. I can take control of my life.

Ugh. I've been off the low carb since June 18th. I wasn't home for a couple of weeks and that made it really hard to follow. Then we ran out of money and food at the same time so I had to eat whatever was in the pantry (all left over carb stuff). So, now I've put on another 6 lbs and I'm higher than I was to begin with. I feel like such a failure. I'm not sure when we'll have enough money to get some low carb stuff again. Protein and veggies are much more expensive than pasta. If anyone has any low-cost low-carb solutions, I would be so greatful to hear them. Anyway...I guess I'll just keep tracking my gain for now. :(

Well, after getting back from TN, I had to leave for another week to direct VBS at my church. It was an absolutely incredible week, but I was WAY too busy to monitor what I was eating. I ate whatever was available whenever it was available. I think I was busy enough that I just actually used all the carbs I was eating. I don't know. Now we're pretty low on cash and eating nothing but protein, dairy, and produce can get pretty pricy so I may have to wait a while before starting back up again...we'll see what happens.

Well, I'm back from TN. Let me tell you, the only thing they have to eat in TN is homecooking and bar-B-Q! It was crazy hard for the first few days, but I stayed with it. I didn't go over on my carbs at all! But, toward the end, it was getting to be a bother (or so I felt) whenever we were out somewhere and we had to go to a sit-down restaurant so I could get something low-carb. So...the last 2 days of my vaca, I decided to live it up and take a vaca from low-carb. It's just a bummer to be so close to my starting weight again. Oh well, at least it was for a good cause! :)
