Holidays are coming up and while my wife was on the phone with my sister, my sister asked what kind of diet I'm on because she wants to make sure that I can eat and enjoy the holiday dinners. Since my brother-in-law and father are both on heart healthy diets, we need to make sure they can eat too. They've agreed they are both going to look for low calorie and heart healthy recipes that would be good for holiday dinners so that my father, brother-in-law, and myself can all eat and enjoy.
I have an awesome family. I love that I'm getting support from everyone. My sister and dad even offered to buy me clothes since I'm losing weight so fast. My family and in-laws included are always checking in on how I'm doing. I love getting the support from everyone close to me. It's helped me stay on track.
On another note, I am wearing a pair of jeans that I haven't been able to wear in over 2 year. Felt good to put them on again.
Back to first topic, anyone have any low calorie heart healthy holiday recipes they would like to share? If so, I'm sure my wife would appreciate it.

Last way in, Sept 22, 400 lbs. Today's weigh in, 397. Only 3 lbs lost in almost a month, but 20 lbs since I started the diet. Wish I had lost more, but wife keeps telling me I'm losing inches instead of pounds. Nurse at doctors office told me that when you plateau, you generally lose inches and to not give up. Stick with it and I'll eventually lose pounds again. But, I'm wanting to lose both inches and pounds, wish I would have lost more. UGH!!! But, I am still gonna stick with the diet/life style change. I want to be around to see my kids grow up and get married, and I want to grow old with my wife so we can aggravate the nurses at the nursing home together. Lol. This weight needs to go.
At least I'm in the 300's again. So happy about that.
