Okay! Now we are seeing some movement! I lost two inches off my waist after the first two weeks, but only one pound. That made me mad. I had to concentrate on the two inches part instead of the one-pound part. This week I've kept it up by staying under the daily calorie count. Now I'm down a pound in just a week! I was going to wait until tomorrow to weigh, but I may have a drink or two tonight so I'm kind of cheating. I'll need to watch my calories through the day and still try not to go over calories even though I'm so ecstatic and want to celebrate Trump's departure with champagne!

I am very disappointed. I took the first two weeks of January off from drinking and have been below the calorie count every day. I didn't weigh myself for two weeks thinking there would be a huge improvement. No! I gained a pound!
There have been a couple good things to come out of it: I lost two inches around my belly and I've been sleeping better.
I think sleeping better is a combination of not drinking, a morning mood lamp session, and melatonin about 7:30 every evening.

Did not eat after 7p. Became pretty hungry and somewhat irritated. Took shower and brushed teeth to ward off snacking. Melatonin at 7:30 and sleepy tea the rest of evening. Mostly slept, but restless a lot as well.
