Day 14: Really bad weekend. I'm actually too ashamed to write everything down because I was waaaaay above my RDI. So here I am on day 14, basically back to square one. Sigh, this is exactly what I was afraid of happening.
In light of this, I am NOT going to give up. In fact, I am more focused and determined than ever. Not only am I going to focus on staying under my RDI, but also watching my protein, fat and carb ration very closely (30%, 20%, 50%).

Day 11: Feeling a little flat today. Just exhausted and tired which is unusual because I have been sleeping really well (even through my partners' loud snoring). I always try remain as positive as I can but today I'm just so over it.

Day 10: I usually prepare my lunches and meals in the morning when I wake up, but this morning was a complete write off (I missed my alarm and woke up late), so not a good start for the day.
I decided instead that today I would order healthy options from the "healthy" take-away at our building: A health Breakfast (Muesli, yogurt, fruit and honey) and a salad for lunch. Much to my dismay, that Health Breakfast cost me 542 calories and the salad 467 calories. And I was just to busy to pre-record my food before I made those choices.
Lesson learnt: ALWAYS PREPARE!!! Know what you are going to have beforehand and prepare for the day.

With all of these modern diets around, it's so hard to choose which one actually works, or do they even work at all, in the long run? They're expensive and more often just leave us scratching our heads, confused and overwhelmed.
Anyways, thanks to Saige18, sending me a link, I now have some clarity on a way forward, by debunking all those diet and exercise myths. Not everyone may agree with the points mentioned (as it sheds a bad light on this new banting trend), but it makes sense to me , and perhaps alot of people. Here's the link: www.all4women/369.

Day 9: So, yesterday I had a yummy Lindt "Cookies and cream" chocolate. I indulged a little and still managed to stay under my daily calorie intake-YAY!! I won't do that everyday-just now and then as a little treat.
