My ambition to join the gym this week has been thwarted by expenses associated with the necessities of life. So, I got out my old EA Active and started the 30-day challenge. I haven't done it in a long time, but when I was using it regularly I did see results.
It is easy for me to commit to these 30 minute workouts five times a week. They are challenging for me but not so much that I feel beat and defeated. I would like to get into the type of shape where I could do the P90x or those other intense home workout routines. That will take some time though.

I wiggled and I jiggled and I sucked the fat in, but at least I got into my capris from last summer. I'm doing the grocery shopping today. Since I'm working all weekend, I don't have to worry for the Memorial Day BBQ overindulgence.
I have set up an exercise schedule. I joined the gym where my kids take Taekwondo. So, on Tuesday and Thursday for 1hr & 15min when I would usually be sitting around watching them, I will be on the cardio machines instead. On Saturday's I will be doing 1hr of Zumba (I just recently discovered how much I love it).
My goal for the next week is to actually do what I planned here :) Then maybe I won't have to fear the button popping off these capris.

What are your go-to healthy staples when grocery shopping? I like hearing other people's ideas. So if you like to share please do. All diets welcome. I don't care if it is vegan, low carb, or whatever...

I guess the 1 lb is better than no pound... I know where I screwed up. what I need to do is restock my kitchen with better stuff... and leave my family home when I do the grocery shopping.
