I worked as an RN in the emergency room for many years. I recently picked up a new job that's mostly sit down and I have suddenly gained 20 pounds. I've never weighed more than 165 my whole life and now I'm 185. I was recently diagnosed with diabetes, my cholesterol is high, blood pressure is great and otherwise feel pretty healthy. My main form of exercise is walking my puppy which turns out not to be such great cardiovascular exercise. She stops to examine everything I mean everything, on our walks. I go about 1 mile an hour. I have to find 'my time' so I can stay healthy and keep walking her.
