It is used routinely in postmenopausal women but again is effective in selected premenopausal women as well. Study results show that tamoxifen reduces the risk of cancer recurring by 25 percent in these women. It also reduces, by 39 percent, the chances of new breast cancer.

Diabetes and kidney disease.
It is important to note that the goal of a diet and training routine should not be to lose weight at any cost. We are interested in losing weight from body fat, but keeping and even increasing muscle mass, which is related to a higher level of health.

Therefore, by benefiting the obtaining of energy from our fat stores, the keto diet compensates for this reduction in calories without damaging the muscle mass, as indicated by numerous studies. Thus, our goal of reducing fat, but not muscle, is easier to achieve.

Turned 49 in June. It IS alarming sometimes to be feeling palpitations sometimes, and so warm other times... just getting older is tough, but add on perimenopause and it just is quite trying. Blood pressure creeping up etc... keep up the good work, ladies. Just hang in there.

Getting rid of sugar craving
One of the ways to understand cravings is to understand why you crave what you crave. Many people believe cravings are a problem, but once you realise that the body is a reliable bio-computer that never makes mistakes, it’s easier to conclude that cravings are critical pieces of information that help you understand what your body really needs.

So next time a craving strikes.. pause for a moment, and ask yourself what is really going on? and before you impulsively reach out for a doughnut or muffin take a moment to slow down, breathe and re-evaluate the situation. What is your body really asking for? maybe you are looking for comfort after a stressful situation? maybe it’s just a deep meaningful chat you are really craving? Primary foods such as joy, relationships, spirituality, are just as important as what you put in to your body, after all they nourish the soul.

Many times our craving for sugar is more for an emotional need that isn’t being met somewhere else, may be you are craving for a real relationship when you get home from work and all you need is companionship but you don’t have that, so you eat instead.

I know all the diet theories, after all I’ve studied over 100 of them!! I had lived the ‘sugar free’ life for 4–5 years. I was the super super discipled girl that everyone admired, I would’t even allow a party or a social event let me cave in to the bad and the sweet stuff, yet here I was, after having gone through the most horrendous ordeal of my life for the last 9 months, reaching out for and gorging out on every comfort food possible (even food I hadn’t eaten for years and I really had no taste for)!! , however buy campral, I knew deep down that my body wasn’t crying out for the sweet or the processed stuff, all that I really wanted and needed was a hug and someone to say everything was going to be ok..I’m sure if you reflect back we have all been through situations like this.

Staying positive
A lot of people use a keto diet to enhance their brain activity. Keto bodies are good energy source elements and perfect fuel for brains. By reducing the carbohydrates consumption, you can prevent the sugar level peaks in the blood. Altogether it can lead to a better concentration. Increasing fatty acid consumption can positively influence metabolic processes in our brains.
