So... weighed in up one lb. I was very loose with the diet this week. The biggest contributor is that I made a huge meal on Sunday evening and ate, drank, and was merry with friends. Used Monday as my cleanse day. I actually suspect that I still lost a couple of pounds of fatty tissue, but am likely retaining water weight. i expect next weeks weigh in to show a large drop that would balance out this weeks weigh in.
Either way, as always, I feel great on this diet. Cleanse days are a bit precarious sometimes, but I always feel terific the day after.

First weigh in after one week back on isagenix. I am down 9.5 lbs. Far better than I expected, but I acknowledge that the first week usually has the most impressive results. My belt is already buckling a notch tighter, which I encouraging! I used Sunday as my cleanse day. It was suprisingly easy to get through the cleanse day. I did a couple hours of moderately strenuous work around the yard, then light housework and leisure time the remainder of the day. I drank two ounces of the cleanse liquid when I woke up, another two ounces about three hours later. The remainder of the day, I only drank the cleanse liquid when I started to feel hungry. Consumed between 4 and 5 liters of water for the day.

I lost nearly 80 lbs using the isagenix program nearly two and a half years ago. I had no trouble keeping the weight off until I suffered a low back injury a year and a half later. The injury put me in a wheel chair for over a week and though I am now mobile, I have been unable to exercise regularly in the same way that I used to without re-injuring myself. Over the last year, the weight has slowly crept back on. At my lowest weight I weighed in at 308 (keep in mind I am 6'7"). I am re-starting the Isagenix program in hopes of hitting my target this time around of 280. Wish me luck!

I decided to take a week to give myself some more freedom in diet so I don't start feeling deprived. I only did a half a cleanse day last week, and a couple days this week I had two full meals an only one shake. I've maintained my workout routine and used this week to also focus more on weight training while adding additional whey to the shakes I have been eating. I had a couple really great yoga sessions and can feel my body building muscles. i can see more definition happening in my arms and shoulders. Unfortunately, I've also felt like my belly was filling out too. I was wondering if I was bloated, or if I was putting weight back on. Last week I would look in the mirror and feel great about my progress. This week I would look in the mirror and just see the belly and the manboobs and the sag and it appeared to my eyes that I was gaining weight again.
When I weighed in this morning, I was surprised to find out that I still lost weight this week! I'm down another three pounds! I was really shocked... and it got me thinking about how our mindset affects how we see ourselves, about those people who have body dysmorphic disorder, and how we only perceive reality clearly when we can keep our ego reactions (shame, pride) in check.
i took a week "off" and still lost weight. Im doing well. I only have 22 more lbs to go to hit my first goal. That seems like nothing considering I already have 53 lbs behind me.
Far beyond the weight, I love how I feel. I love that I am working out regularly. It feels so good to workout and get sweaty and feel those endorphins pumping through me. I've noticed a prfound difference in my heartrate while working out. Even though i am increasing the intensity of the workout each week, my working heartrate is going down. Yay for cardio-vascular health! I'm even up to a run on the treadmill instead of a fast walk.
