I had an echocardiogram last week and my diagnosis on Tuesday. I tried to enjoy myself over the 4th of July weekend within reason, knowing I'd probably gain weight. After my diagnosis of PAC(Premature Aortic Contraction) and being told I'd be put on meds I had a bad day. Ate too much. Today I'm doing ok and back on track. I didn't want to take meds. From the research I've done I'm not sure why this happened. I'll stick to my plan. I think one of the things that upset me is that I asked for a copy of my test results. One of the sheets under "Problems" it has BMI = Obese. Oh come on, My BMI is 30.2. Another reason to stick with my plan and get my BMI into a normal range. Even just a few pounds puts me in overweight yet not obese.

Second week I've been tracking and it's been a good week. I'm not out to lose a lot. I'm happy with at least 2 lb per week.

Counting calories. I may lose slower than keeping low carb but my goal is to be healthy and I want to include fruit. Keeping it at 1200 per day!
