Trying to log & follow my plan. In a month I go to visit my mom. When I saw her last year she said "I don't remember you being so husky!". I guess Parkinson's and dementia has made her a little more outspoken! LOL! Got to get this done before Aug 23!

Haven't logged for a while due to work travel and family issues. Last weekend was a mess but followed my program this past week and over the weekend without logging and actually down a pound. YAY! Tried sleeping without my Bi-pap last night & husband woke me up that I was snoring too loud....so guess I'm not ready for that yet. I have a goal for next month and really want to meet it. Have lost so slow over the last month I really need to follow my plan & get back with it.

Logging today and this week as much as I can since I'm not traveling. Parade tomorrow in Lutz, FL. 2 miles! I have an event later this month and I have to wear a formal dress. I tried on a beautiful dress that I bought 2 years ago at a thrift store and it fit! Yay! Happy about that!

How is it I was able to lose such a great amount in such a short time and now have been almost stagnant for 2 months? I'm being rhetorical so you don't have to answer. Many days I've logged but the last 2 weeks I've done a lot of travel and haven't logged. I made some pretty good choices but since I'm up 2 lbs not the best choices. Guess I better start logging again, I'll be seeing my mom at the end of August and I don't want her to say..."I don't remember you being that husky!" ever again.

Have been traveling for work and last week I was with my grand kids the whole weekend. Last weekend I fell off the wagon. Not so much because of my grand kids but my husband. He worries and complains once in a while, mostly about our daughter & the grand kids. I ate things I shouldn't have. Monday I buckled down and got back with my program I wanted to lose 5 lbs by the 15th and I did it. Now to lose another 5 lbs by the end of the month! Setbacks happen, but I pulled myself back up and stuck with it. I do my best to follow my program but life happens. I try not to eat in place of emotions, but it happens.

Maybe next time celery!
